Having access to information is a vital part of purchasing real estate, and there are many steps to take to find information about the property you are interested in. So, if you are making a purchase at a government tax deed sale auction, or buying from a realtor or owner, we wanted to give to you a list of things to consider. We all know that learning about the area of interest is important, but here are some other helpful hints that http://www.taxdeedlists.com/ wanted to provide for you while you are making your purchasing decision :
What is the assessed value of this property. This helps you in deciding on how much you want to pay for the property.
What is the property zoned. This tells you what kind of structure you can have, for instance a single family, duplex, mobile home, condo, etc.
What is the parcel dimensions. This is how large the land or property is.
Property Freatures. Does it have a pool, or an extended patio.
What is the sales history. How many times has the property been sold and for how much.
Surrounding area information. Is there shopping and restaurants, schools, etc in the area.
Is this city water or well and septic. You might want only a certain type of water system.
Are there public utlities in the area, and are they underground or above ground. Also, be aware of power lines on the property or near by. This is not a good selling feature.
Is the property situated on a hill or maybe a slope. This is good to know for flooding and drainage purposes.
Is the community gated. Does it have a guard, or electric gate.
Does this community participate in an HOA (Home Owner's Association). This usually will have fees.
